TH103 - Instructor-Led Training to E-Learning: A Conversion, an Evolution, or a Revolution?

Thursday, February 07 | 10:15 AM - 11:15 AM | Room: 2B

Session Description:
If you haven't had to turn instructor-led training (ILT) into web-based training (WBT), chances are you will. Will you convert directly to web-based training, or redesign the learner experience entirely with the most relevant tech strategies? The process introduces other considerations regarding whether to design blended, microlearning, gamified, responsive, adaptive, or parallel solutions. In this session, you'll learn strategies from the ILT-to-WBT playbook to optimize this learning environment change. You'll realize how current design thinking can help you make decisions based on the learners' and, thereby, the business's best interests, to not only change and adapt to new modalities, but also revolutionize business behaviors.

Application on the Job:
Apply innovative design thinking to integrate training into larger organizational initiatives.
Distill the ILT content for the WBT content that will deliberately exceed learner and business expectations.
Discover tech tools and learner experiences that will preserve the best of ILT simulations in web-based training.
