Session Description:
Instructional designers and developers are expected to write realistic scenarios with compelling characters who ring true for participants. Creating a character who motivates and moves takes more than simply providing a name and a challenge. Characters must have a presence that feels familiar, a voice that's distinctive, a goal that matters, and a choice with stakes. In this session, you will step into the world of storytelling and learn strategies for building compelling characters who interact and communicate in realistic ways for use in games or e-learning modules.
