TH309HOL - Practical Solutions for Creating Simple 3D AR/VR Interactive Lessons

Thursday, February 07 | 2:15 PM - 4:30 PM | Room: 2C

Session Description:
Virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) were once thought to be too expensive to use in training. However, simplified, budget-friendly solutions are rapidly emerging, allowing trainers to bring AR/VR to the workplace. In this session, you'll learn how to leverage these tools to develop your own simple VR/AR content. We'll use a 3D camera to demonstrate how to snap an environment. Then we'll use rapid development software to add interactions and quizzes to the environment. This session will help you create interactive AR/VR applications and give you a jumping-off point for building your VR/AR development skills even further. Leave this session with the knowledge to plan, build, and share your project with your co-workers.

Application on the Job:
Plan a successful interactive VR/AR application to use in existing training programs.
Explore the necessary components of a successful VR/AR project.
