Carla Torgerson is a Director of Instructional Design at Bull City Learning, a performance and learning consultancy. She holds MEd and MBA degrees, and has more than 15 years of experience as an instructional designer and instructional strategist. She has taught certificate programs for ATD on instructional design for eLearning, mobile learning, and microlearning, across the country for more than 10 years. Carla has been exploring microlearning for several years; she developed MILE, the MIcroLEarning Design Model© and is the author of "The Microlearning Guide to Microlearning". Carla has consulted with numerous Fortune 500 clients including McDonalds, Netflix, Facebook, Express, Fidelity, Cargill, Medtronic, Merck, and Best Western. She has designed solutions ranging from $15,000 to more than $2 million. Carla has authored numerous blogs and articles, including chapters in "Michael Allen's 2012 e-Learning Annual" and "ATD's Guide to Talent Development" by Elaine Biech.
